The R.M. of Pense has abeen designated as eligible for PDAP assistance.

• PDAP is administered by the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing.
• PDAP provides financial asistance to communities, businesses, non-profit organizations, individuals and certain others who incur substantial losses to essential, uninsurable property caused by specific natural disasters. Some examples of eligible items under PDAP include clean-up, essential household items, structural repair and restoration, and preventative measures taken during the disaster.
• The assistance provided by PDAP helps claimants restore eligible property to pre-disaster conditions. It does not include payment for economic losses or reimbursement for loss of income or loss of production. PDAP does not provide assistance if insurance is available in the Saskatchewan marketplace, even if insurance was not purchased. It does not apply if losses are covered by another program, the losses have been recovered, or can be recovered by law.
