Current Road Conditions
The RM would like to advise that many of our gravel roads are currently wet and impassable due to recent weather conditions. We understand this may impact access and operations in some areas. Please be assured that our Public Works is monitoring conditions closely and will begin maintenance and repairs as soon as roads are dry enough to allow safe and effective work. Equipment will be out as soon as conditions permit.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to restore safe travel throughout the RM.
Gravelock
A new product (gravelock) was recently applied to a couple roads in the industrial area. With the recent moisture, these roadways have become worse than usual. Please understand that this product has not had time to settle and we are working to remedy them as soon as it is safe to do so.
Council is exploring potential future enhancements, but the areas with gravelock will firm up again and additional gravel will be applied when possible.
